William "Billy" Bowers, 58, of Savannah, Missouri, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024 at his home.

Billy was born on August 14, 1966 in Omaha, Nebraska to the late Raymond Ernest and Nora Mae (Reynolds) Bowers.

Billy worked as an over the road truck driver and as an equipment operator.

He was known as a "wheeler and a dealer" and enjoyed fishing, hunting, target
shooting and watching movies.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Hatfield and nephew, Raymond Bowers.

Billy is survived by his two daughters, Morgan Bowers and Madison Bowers; son, Alexander Farrens; three grandchildren, Abbigale Rose Gilbert, Russell Mach Gilbert lI and Nolan Donal Gilbert and future grandson arriving in December; sister, Mary Bowers (Paul); best friend, Alfred Kearby and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bowers has been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith Savannah Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

The family has requested memorial donations to assist in defraying expenses in care of Heaton-Bowman-Smith Savannah Chapel, 307 S. 6th St. Savannah, MO
