Travis N.
Till
May 27, 1979 — Aug 26, 2026
Travis N. Till, 47, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away on August 26, 2026, after being diagnosed with glioblastoma in April 2025. He was born May 27, 1979, in St. Joseph and graduated from Central High School in 1998.
Travis grew up on his grandmother's farm alongside his father and uncles making memories with his cousins, Chris and Angie. Travis and his father shared a love of talking about cars and tractors at the kitchen table. He was also a devoted Green Bay Packers fan, particularly during the Brett Favre years. After high school, Travis worked in a variety of jobs, most recently at Altec.
Travis did things entirely on his own terms, right up to the end, facing his diagnosis the only way he knew how-his way.
Travis was preceded in death by his Grandma Vita and Grandpa Henry Till, Grandma Shirley & Grandpa Jerry Brewer, and his loyal and best four-legged friends, Ruger and Nala.
Travis is survived by his father, Kenny Till (Jackie Coats); sisters, Ashley Coats, Emmalee Jennings; uncles, Henry (Cecilia), Larry, Joe Till, and Jerry Brewer, Jr. ; cousins, Chris (April) Till, Angie ( Bert) Hinojosa, Bo Brewer, Lola Hinojosa, Adam Till and Luka Hinojosa; his best friend, Brett Sherman, and a wide circle of extended family and friends.
Catholic Prayer Service for Travis will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 10:00 AM, at Heaton-Bowman-Smith-Sidenfaden Chapel in St. Joseph, Missouri. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 from 5:00-7:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Hurlingen, MO.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be directed in Travis's memory to the National Brain Tumor Society, Mosaic Life Care Patient Assistance Fund, or St. Mary's Cemetery.
