Shirley A. Grubbs, 89, of St. Joseph, passed away May 19, 2025 at a local nursing facility.

Shirley was born December 24, 1935 in St. Joseph to Clifford and Dollie (Stiers) Muster.  She was married to Robert T. Grubbs and he preceded her in death on August 3, 1985.  Also preceding her in death were her parents.

She was a member of the Marvin McMurry United Methodist Church.  Her and Robert enjoyed traveling to different restaurants' around the area.

Graveside services will be Friday, May 23, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Mount Auburn Cemetery.  Pastor Velvet Sommer will officiate.  Mrs. Grubbs will lie in state Friday morning from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
