Sandra (Sandy) Eileen Bennett was called to meet her Lord and her husband, Wayne, on this day (09/03/2026). She was born to Clyde Marie Snyder and Wallace (Wally) Snyder on November 28, 1939, in Atlanta, GA.

Married for 64 glorious years, she had four children whom she loved dearly and was quite proud of. She traveled extensively and enjoyed every moment, making friends all over the world.

She spent many years working in the Denver and Colorado Springs area under many titles, working toward her greatest goal, which she achieved: becoming the first female Property Manager in the Denver Tech Center and the first in her firm.

Her Love of the Lord drew her to the First Southern Baptist Church of Cañon City, where she became treasurer and secretary of the church. She was loved by all.

Preceded in death by her mother, father, her loving husband and foster son, Randy Lubbers. She is survived by her children, Ronald Bennett, his wife, Julie of Pearland, Texas; Samuel Bennett of Kansas City, Missouri; David Bennett, his wife, Tammy of Kansas City, Missouri; Julie Shaw, her husband, Jeff Shaw of Colorado Springs, Colorado; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM at the Connect Church (FirstSouthern Baptist) on November 7, 2026

She will be greatly missed.

The family has requested memorial donations to a favorite church of the donor's choice.
