Randy Lee Penick, 70, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, August 26th, 2026.

Randy was born to the late Nancy (McFarland) and Donald Penick on July 24th, 1956 in Quincy, Illinois. Randy graduated from Kirksville High School, before attending Community College in Fresno, California perusing a degree in computer science. Randy enlisted in the US Navy.

Randy was united in marriage to Debra (Austin) on July 16th, 1982. The couple celebrated 42 years of marriage until her passing in July of 2024.

Some of Randy's hobbies included Ham Radio, bowling, shooting pool, computers, motorcycles, classic cars, and, model building.

Survivors of Randy include his children: Russell Penick, Ryan Penick, Amanda Penick, and Cassandra Penick, Grandchildren: Johnathon Ziegler, Jacob Penick, and Maddie Penick, and Siblings: Renda Jackson, Ronald Penick, and Robert Penick. Preceding Randy in death were his parents, Nancy and Donald Penick, and wife, Debra (2024).

The family will hold a private family service. Cremation has been entrusted with Heaton-Bowman-Smith-Sidenfaden Chapel of St. Joseph, Missouri.
