Louise Joann McCormick, 90, of St Joseph Missouri, passed away on June 21, 2024, living a long life..

Louise was born on March 3, 1934, to Byron W. and Corrine E. (McAuliffe) Husted in Kansas City MO. She grew up in the Yucaipa-Calimesa area of California and graduated from Redlands High School in 1952.  She worked in various industries across the country throughout her life, retiring with Systron-Donner in 1999. She eventually returned to St Joseph MO, where she resided until her death.

Louise loved eating out, trying new restaurants in town or going to her old favorites.  Louise enjoyed shopping whether she was browsing online or just meandering through her favorite brick & mortar stores.

Most of all Louise was passionate about keeping up with her children and grandchildren, even on social media, supporting them through the many milestones of their lives. Louise will be missed greatly by all her friends and family.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Corrine Husted and her sister Betty Lou.

Louise is survived by her six children, Raymond H. McCormick of Lake Havasu AZ, Theresa A.Wenger of Concord CA, Kathleen G. Perovich of Spring Tx, Micheal A. McCormick of Butte MT, Patrick B. McCormick of St Joseph MO, Thomas H. McCormick of Tahuya WA, and 39 grand and great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date in St Joseph MO.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations may be given to the American Red Cross.
