Larry Angold, 74, St. Joseph, Missouri; passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Larry was born on March 15, 1952 in St. Joseph, Missouri to the late Ralph and Ima Jean (King) Angold. He was a 1970 graduate of Lafayette High School.

Mr. Angold was a 50 year member of the UA Local 45 Plumbers & Pipefitters Union.

Larry was an avid sports fan, he not only enjoyed playing various sports, but also enjoyed coaching and watching his grandchildren and niece’s and nephew’s activities. He also enjoyed Motorcross and riding dirt bikes and always looked forward to trips to his cabin on Bean Lake.

Larry married Cheryl Jean Dalsing on January 7, 1994. They celebrated thirty-two years together.

Larry is survived by his wife, Cheryl, of the home; two daughters, Jessica Sass (Chris) and Jennifer Oldham; grandchildren, James Hogle (Jeanna), Andrew, Logan, Kelsee and Katelyn; brother, Roger Angold (Tracy); nephew and nieces, Adrian, Amity and Ashby; three great nieces and one great-nephew.

Mr. Angold has been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. There will be a gathering of family and friends Monday, August 24th, from 3-6 at Local 45 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, 2329 S. 22nd St. St. Joseph, MO.
