John William Pugh passed away on Wednesday May 31, 2023 at the age of 66.

He was born on April 4, 1957 to William A. and Edna (Foote) Pugh in St. Joseph, MO.  On August 19, 1978 he was united in marriage to Ellen T. Schultz in St. Joseph, MO.

John worked at USFP in Leavenworth, KS.  He retired in 2007, as a QA manager in UNICOR.

He loved the St. Louis Cardinals and watching his grandsons compete athletically.

John is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Peggy Hart.

John is survived by his wife Ellen, son Joseph (Susan), sister Karen (George) Szczepanik and three grandsons, Ben, Brady and Bauer Pugh, all of St. Joseph, MO.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital,  The Noyes Home or to Cleft Palate Children.

Rosary 4:00 PM with a visitation following until 7:00 PM Sunday, June 4th at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Monday at St. James Catholic Church.
