Jay Patrick Bowman, Sr., Savannah, MO passed from this life on December 2, 2023 at his Savannah residence.    He was born December 7, 1994 in St. Joseph, MO, to Amy Bowman and Fred Brooks.

J-Bo was a graduate of Mingo Job Corp.  He worked for Wilbert Vault and various welding jobs.  He will be remembered as a "Diehard Kansas City CHIEFS FAN" who enjoyed wood-working, mechanics, and to tinker around.

Jay was preceded in death by, Stephanie Bradberry, his grandmother, Cathy Bowman, and maternal grandparents.

Surviving are his mother Amy Bowman and father Fred Brooks (Jennifer); son Jay Patrick, Jr; brother Macray Brooks (Jacey); niece Brooklyn Brooks; grandfather Walter Bowman, aunt Becky Kelly (Bill); uncle CJ Bowman (Jessica); and numerous cousins.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023, 2:00 P.M. at Heaton-Bowman-Smith Savannah Chapel.  Friends, please feel free to wear your CHIEFS apparel.  There will be a visitation 2 hours prior to service beginning at noon.  Interment to follow at the Savannah Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to Heaton-Bowman-Smith Savannah Chapel to help defray the funeral expenses.
