Frank Rolland Ramseier, 88, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, January 21st, 2026.

He was born October 8, 1937 to Florence (Hoffelmeyer) and Rolland Ramseier in St. Joseph Missouri. He had three siblings, Regeiner, Melvin, and Carolyn.

Frank graduated from Lafayette High School in 1955.

Frank married Evelyn Ann Teemple on November 17, 1962 and they had 56 years of marriage before she passed away in 2018. They raised four children Cindy, Terry, Marla, and Karla.

Frank enjoyed many years of bowling in league play and tournaments with his best friend Keith Reynolds and all the guys. Many of whom enjoyed numerous bull fry parties at Frank and Annies.

Frank was ornery as the day is long and kind to the core.  He collected as many friends  as you can shake a stick at and was always ready for a good time.  He was owner and head bottle washer at the "Old Farts Bar" where he loved to entertain friends and family alike. He and Annie loved the retired life at the river and spent many years running lines and having fish fries.  There were also those special quiet country evenings that they cherished so much.

Frank worked at Seitz meat packing plant for 40 years and butchered countless beef, hogs, and deer in his butcher shop and skinned many of the same with his old skinning buddy Paul "PA" Miller.  He also was very involved with the Lovers Lane Credit Union for many years in various rolls and as a member.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ann, siblings Regeiner and Carolyn, and daughter Cindy Davis.
He is survived and missed by his son Terry Ramseier (Lorrie) Agency, Marla Ramseier, Kansas City, and Karla Lewis (Gregg) Wathena. 13 Grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, and special cousins Pat and Sandy.

Services for Frank will be held at Heaton-Bowman-Smith-Sidenfaden Chapel at 3609 Frederick Ave. St. Joseph, Missouri. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 27th from 4:00-7:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 28th at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
