Ellen Louise Reynolds, 75, St. Joseph, Missouri; passed from her earthly home to be joined with the Lord on Friday, June 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Ellen was born on August 13, 1950 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Vernon and Lucille (Doss) Edwards.

Ellen was united in marriage to the love of her life and best friend on June 8, 1968.  They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary and together raised their six children.  Ellen was a devoted wife, loving mother and doting grandmother.  Her faith and family were at the forefront of all she did.

Mrs. Reynolds co-pastored alongside her husband at the Present Truth Fellowships Church since 2012.  Prior to that, Ellen worked as a pharmacy tech for Aetna Rx Home Delivery for thirteen years.

Ellen was a skilled musician and singer, and was a self-taught piano player, that loved singing church hymns and playing for her church congregation.  She also enjoyed baking cakes and traveling with her husband, including numerous trips to Branson.

Ellen is survived by her husband of 58 years, Terry, of the home; mother, Lucille Edwards; six children, Kim Reynolds, Kristy Humes (Anthony), Stacey Kelley (Herold), Terri Reynolds, Sherri Weston (Raymond) and Joshua Reynolds (Shannon O'Guin), eighteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and numerous siblings, nieces and nephews, and countless friends.

Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her father, Vernon and sister, Maria Reynolds.

Funeral Service 11:00 AM Tuesday,  June 16, 2026 at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, where visitation will begin after 10:00 AM on Monday. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, June 15, 2026 at our chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to the National Kidney Foundation.
