Obituary

David Frank Kyle, 72 years of age, passed on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at his home surrounded by family and friends.

David was born May 20, 1952, in Cuyahoga, Ohio to the late David Kyle and Dorthy Bartley. He was raised by his father (David) and stepmother (Beuleau) and was the oldest of 9 children, two preceded him in death (Samuel Kyle and Hasel Marie Kyle). David was known as 'Ike' by his siblings (Betty Hautzenraer, Susan Thomas, Jesse Kyle, Catherine Kyle, Abraham Kyle, and George Kyle) and 'Uncle Ike' to numerous nieces and nephews.

David was employed at Clincos for many years before moving to part time work at Choices during his golden years by emptying trash cans and shredding. David believed in Jesus and attended church for many years at Central Assembly of God.

David loved Elvis and had many pieces of memorabilia. For many years, David would dazzle friends by singing Elvis's songs at Choices' Annual Halloween party. He vacationed yearly in Branson just to see his icon (impersonator). David enjoyed coffee daily and was an avid collector of coffee cups (and drinking coffee, too), pens, lock boxes, fishing poles and more and enjoyed going to 'big truck' to window shop for these items. He also collected money in the politest way asking anyone he encountered, "Got a dollar?"

During the last few weeks of his life, David chose to quit smoking. This was a huge accomplishment! He was so proud and shared it with everyone with a smile that could light up any room. Elvis once stated, "I've left my mark, and I hope it makes a difference." This can confidently be said about David and the life he lived.
