Danny G. Summers, 72, Savannah, Missouri; passed away Friday, July 31, 2026.

Danny was born in St. Joseph, MO, on July 19, 1954 to the late Richard Dale Summers and Maryann Lucille (Perry) Hale.

Danny married the love of his life, Sharon Church on March 12, 1977 in Amazonia, MO. They celebrated forty-nine years of marriage together.

He was a dedicated driver for ABF Freight Systems for over 30 years.

Danny’s grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he loved taking them for rides on his airboat. He was always there to lend a helping hand to his family and friends. He loved his big kid toys and enjoyed fishing trips on his fishing boat.

In addition to Danny’s parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Richard Summers, & brother-in-law, Robert Wolf.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon and granddaughter, Bee of the home; daughters, Danielle Wilson and Hannah Summers; grandchildren, Delaney, Katie, Jillian, AnnaLee, Josh, & Abel; sisters, Sandy Foote & Tanya Wolf; brother, Shawn Hale; and nieces and nephews.

Danny’s Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 4th at 11:00 AM at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith Savannah Chapel with a visitation beginning one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to Sharon Summers, for the organization that is close to their hearts, the Sassy Sewing and Crafters of Andrew County, Missouri.
