Obituary

Cheryl Katheleen Snead, 78, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away peacefully in her sleep, taking a nap, on September 23rd, 2025, at a Local Rehab Center. She was born in S. Joseph, Missouri on Wednesday, September 17th, 1947 to Robert Warren Snead and Laura Louise (Riley)Snead. She graduated from Saint Patrick Grade School in 1961 and Bishop LeBlond High School in 1965.

Cheryl began her life long career, after graduation as a Lab Technician, with the Thompson, Brumm, Knepper Clinic, then worked for Methodist Hospital, on to Heartland Hospital, and retired from Mosaic Hospital in 2013, after working for 48 years. Cheryl took pride in her work and loved what she did. She met many wonderful co-workers, along her way.

Cheryl was a lifetime member of the Saint Patrick Church since birth, and a member of the Saint Anne's Altar Society with the Saint Patrick Church. She was very faithful with her religion and faith.

Cheryl was inspirational to all of us, being a joy to be around, always with her jokingly fun humor. Never a dull moment with Cheryl in your presence. She loved her family, friends, neighbors, fur babies, and her number one, her daughter, Laura Diane. She felt very blessed through her life, with having good parents, that raised her with love and faith in God. Cheryl was not afraid of hard work, and taking care of her home. She will be greatly missed in this separation in this life of earth. "Until we meet again."

Preceding Cheryl in death, were her parents, sister, Diane, Brother, Bob, Nephew, Justin, and her dear friends, Allison Adams-Zimmerman and Deloris Hernandez Pike. Survivors of Cheryl, who will cherish her memory are: her daughter, Laura, sisters, Karen and Patricia, several nieces and nephews, 2 great-nephews, and many friends. Cheryl was a God Send.
