Audrey B. Richardson age 96, of Akron, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 13th, 2026 in Savannah, Mo.

Audrey was born July 25th, 1930 in Middlesbrough, England and spent many productive years as a nurse. She had a “nurse’s heart.” Audrey showed her generous and loving spirit through sharing home-cooked meals, a plate of cookies and her famous sausage rolls.

She also loved volunteering at the USO and meeting with the ladies at the British Club. Audrey was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Akron/Barberton, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Richardson, her parents, George and Ivy Burns, brothers Malcom and Josie (wife), Alan Burns, and step son-in-law David Doerrer.

Audrey is survived by her children Don (Mary), Tom (Cindy) step-daughter Karen Doerrer, sister-in-law Norma Burns, six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
